Overview
This RIIVEH304E – Conduct tip truck operations is for those currently working or seeking work in operational roles in Civil construction industries and will be required to operate a tip truck in the workplace.
Applicants are required to hold a valid Class C licence as a minimum. If you’ve just arrived in Australia, you can join the course with your international C-Class licence, as it’s valid for up to three months. After that, you’ll need a WA driver’s licence or an International Driver’s Licence Permit (IDP) to participate.
Students will attain the theoretical knowledge and the practical application to operate a tip truck properly and will be able to:

You will be enrolled into the following unit of competency:
Entry Requirements
Must be 18 years old and above
Applicants are required to hold a valid Class C licence as a minimum. If you’ve just arrived in Australia, you can join the course with your international C-Class licence, as it’s valid for up to three months. After that, you’ll need a WA driver’s licence or an International Driver’s Licence Permit (IDP) to participate.
Please note that you will need an HR (Heavy Rigid) Vehicle Licence in order to drive a Tip Truck in the metro area. Please go to the Department of Transport website to apply for this licence as it is not included in the training provided.
Present a valid photo I.D. on arrival
If you have any physical conditions that may affect your ability to complete a course, please visit a doctor and obtain a “Fit for Work” certificate, and send it to our bookings email.
Please note, Saferight reserves the right to cancel your enrolment if this documentation is not provided and you are deemed unfit for training. Additionally, cancellation fees will apply if adequate notice is not given.

Individuals holding a student visa are not eligible to enrol in, participate in, or attend this course, whether face-to-face or online, as Saferight is not registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). Certification
On successful completion of this Grader Ticket course, students will receive a:
Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIVEH304E – Conduct tip truck operations.
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
Obtaining this ticket does not authorise you to operate this machine on public roads unless you hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence. You are only permitted to drive the machine within your worksite. If you need to obtain an HR licence, visit: Department of Transport WA – Heavy Rigid Licence.
