Overview
This C6 Crane Course in Perth WA, focusing on the C6 Crane Ticket (Slewing Mobile Crane), is designed for individuals currently working or seeking employment in operational roles within the mining and construction industries. The course equips participants to operate a C6 Slewing Mobile Crane or Franna Crane safely and competently.
Participants must hold a current Statement of Attainment/Qualification for CPCCLDG3001 – Licence to Perform Dogging prior to attending this course.
Students will attain the theoretical knowledge and the practical application to operate a slewing mobile crane with a Maximum Rated Capacity (MRC) up to 60 tonnes. and will be able to:
Plan Work/Task: Identify task requirements, confirm lift plan, assess site and crane capacity, establish communication, apply hazard control, and confirm traffic management.
Prepare for Work/Task: Consult on crane operations, check risks, safely access crane, carry out pre-start checks, set up crane and counterweights, ensure compliance with weather conditions, confirm load weight and lifting points.
Perform Work/Task: Ensure lifts within crane capacity, position boom/jib, connect hooks, conduct test lift, transfer loads safely, monitor crane movement, follow communication signals, land load securely.
Pack Up: Stow equipment, secure crane components, apply locks/brakes, shut down crane, and perform post-operation checks.

Entry Requirements
To enrol in the C6 Crane Ticket in Perth WA/C6 Crane Course, you must meet the following requirements:
Students must hold a Dogging/Dogman licence (CPCCLDG3001 – Licence to perform dogging) & HRWL prior to commencing this course with Saferight.
Must be 18 years old and above
Applicants must hold a valid:
High-Risk Work Licence OR a copy of their current Notice of Assessment (NOA), and
Statement of Attainment/Certificate
Present photo I.D. on arrival
Applicants are required to hold a valid Australian Class C licence as a minimum
Please note that you will need an HR (Heavy Rigid) Vehicle Licence in order to drive a C6 Crane in the metro area. Please go to the Department of Transport website to apply for this licence as it is not included in the training provided.
If you have any physical conditions that may affect your ability to complete a course, please visit a doctor and obtain a “Fit for Work” certificate, and send it to our bookings email.

On successful completion of the C6 Crane Ticket in Perth/ C6 Crane Course, students will receive a:
Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0023 – Licence to Operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (Up to 60 tonnes)
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
