Licence to Perform Dogging - CPCCLDG3001

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely perform dogging work. Dogging consists of the application of slinging techniques to move a load, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear, and the directing of a plant operator in the movement of a load when the load is out of sight of the operator. A person performing this work is required to hold a high risk work license (HRWL).

  • Upon entering training, proof of identity must be established. You must provide ONE primary document (passport or driver's license) or at least THREE secondary documents (birth certificate, Medicare, utility bill – not older than 12 months).

  • Appropriate attire: Wear long pants and a long shirt, preferably high-visibility, along with steel-capped boots.
