Overview

The Rigging Basic & Intermediate Level training course, aligned with the National Standard for High-Risk Work Licensing, equips participants with skills for basic and intermediate rigging, including plant and equipment, steel erection, hoists, pre-cast concrete placement, safety nets, static lines, and cantilever crane loading platform, cranes, conveyors, dredges, excavators, tilt slabs, demolition, and dual lifts.

Before attending this course, participants must hold a valid/current Statement of Attainment for Licence to Perform Dogging, and a valid High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for Dogging. If you don’t have this pre-requisite qualification, you are not allowed to join the course and Saferight has the right to cancel your enrolment.

This Rigging Basic & Intermediate course specifies the outcomes required to:

  • Conduct multiple-crane lifts, install tilt-up panels, and remove structural elements

Disclaimer: To proceed to the Intermediate Rigging course, students must first successfully pass the Rigging Basic course. Failure to pass the Rigging Basic course requires re-enrolment and completion of the Rigging Basic course before advancing to Rigging Intermediate.

Entry Requirements

To enter the Rigging Basic and Intermediate Course Perth WA, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Must hold a valid/current Statement of Attainment for Licence to Perform Dogging, and a valid High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) for Dogging.

  2. Must be 18 years old and above

  3. Present a valid photo I.D. on arrival

  4. Wear steel cap shoes/boots prior to commencement

  5. Ability to read, write and understand English

Individuals holding a student visa are not eligible to enrol in, participate in, or attend this course, whether face-to-face or online, as Saferight is not registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). Student visa holders are encouraged to seek training with a CRICOS-registered institution to meet their requirements.
